For those of you who find yourself wandering around, lost in the space of your own jumbled mind or just lost in the swirl of Substack, Kristi Keller is a remarkable guide! My Substack (pending ) GRACEFULGRIT publication is literally lost in unidentified cyber clutches. The original tangle is probably my doing but Kristi has been heroic in working behind the scenes to sleuth out the issues. She is a commendable example of GRACEFULGRIT in action-kind, proactive and unflappably strong in applying herself to help me.

I wanted to share (actually SHOUT) my appreciation for who and how she is!

Julie, thank you so much for this! I know how frustrating it must be...we've been working on this for months lol! But I have faith we'll get to the bottom of it!

Yes to winging it! Peopl who can make 5 years plans mystify me - I rarely know what I'll be doing next week and I'll actively undermine any attempts to make my life predictable.

Maybe I’m Will Smith in Pursuit of Happiness? Trying to figure it all out while life is bursting at the seams. Such a great activity!

Aww man, that was such a hard one to watch. But well worth it! Aren't we all just trying to figure it all out? ❀️

True! None of us know what we are doing. Some of us just look a little better or silly while we figure it out.

This is so, SO good, Kristi! Mine has always been Raiders of the Lost Ark and I'm Indiana not Marian - even though she's definitely a badass. I love the whole concept of this post and I'm taking this outlook with me through the rest of my week. πŸ’Ÿ

I think my movie would be The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Loved this story, and the Bird Box bit was really funny.

I've never heard of that movie but it sounds like something I'd enjoy. I'm gonna look for it later tonight.

I love this prompt! I need to think about my blockbuster movie, so I might just have to take you up on writing about it. πŸ˜‰ Meanwhile, this is a fabulous image (and, I'll venture, metaphor): "All the classic badasses pause on a hilltop to take a swig of rum and wipe the dust from their brow."

I super hope you do take a swing at this prompt! I'd love to read it! In the meantime, I'll see you on the hilltop.

I was a CPA for over 60 years but I certainly wasn't anything like Ben Affleck as the savant in the movie The Accountant. But you can bet your cotton socks that I wish I was.

Now, my movie would be an essay writer stumbling about wondering WTF to write about

Moana has a great soundtrack! I think Kristi would like "How Far I'll Go":

See the line where the sky meets the sea?

It calls me

And no one knows how far it goes

If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me

One day I'll know

If I go there's just no telling how far I'll go

That soundtrack is awesome. When I read those words I heard the tune. Instant smile πŸ™‚

It is! My kids watched 17 billion times. So I know it well now. She's a princess and she needs to save her island from destruction, so she goes on this voyage adventure across the sea to subdue a demigod for help and be a hero.

My granddaughter has watched Frozen 17 billion times. I related most to Elsa, living in solitude in a winter wonderland lol.

Okay, then- I end up in one of Mel Brooks' movies (at least not one of the early ones; in those days he was a bit of a tyrant as a director).

If you see a fork in the road pick it up!! Love this. Great life lesson. My life is usually the heartfelt comedy, which tends to be my favorite genre. These are the screenplays I’ve written. Still shopping one.

I don’t miss paper maps but I’ve become too reliant on Google maps even to get home.

I sometimes think back to life before GPS and wonder how the hell we actually survived! I mean, I moved to a completely different (huge) city for college in the 90s and thinking back, I don't know how I ever found my way.
